Sacha Inchi also known as 'Inca Inchi' is one of nature’s most amazing and nutritious foods. There are two main cultivars in production Plukenetia volubilis the main variety used to make Sacha Inchi Protein powder and Plukenetia huayllabambana a new cultivar with a higher omega-3 content which is our preferred variety for culinary cold-pressed Sacha Inchi omega-3,6,9 oil. 

Sacha Inchi seeds are rich in protein, essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals, it helped to power Incan civilisation for centuries. The Sacha Inchi plant still grows sustainably in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and its rediscovery by food scientists now provides income for indigenous Indian tribes.
